As part of the eTwinning project \u201cBuilding a Better World: Empathy and Inclusion,\u201d the activity \u201cUnderstanding Peer Violence through Video Analysis and Debate\u201d was successfully carried out on April 1, 2026. The workshop was aimed at developing empathy, critical thinking, and responsible behavior in situations involving peer violence.<\/div>\n
During the activity, students had the opportunity to watch a short video illustrating different forms of peer violence. After watching the video, students engaged in a guided discussion where they analyzed various forms of violence\u2014verbal, social,physical and racial discrimination\u2014as well as the roles of participants: the victim, the bully, and the bystander. Special emphasis was placed on understanding the consequences of such behavior and the importance of timely response.<\/div>\n
The activity encouraged students to view the problem from different perspectives and to express their opinions with well-founded arguments, while also fostering a sense of responsibility and solidarity.<\/div>\n
The workshop concluded with a short reflection, during which students discussed concrete ways to prevent peer violence, as well as whom they can turn to for help if they find themselves in the role of a victim.<\/div>\n
Such activities contribute to creating a safer and more supportive school environment, highlighting the importance of empathy, respect, and appropriate responses to inappropriate behavior.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
